I start
to climb up and down. ;-) Erm, I am attempting to avoid the use of lift by walking
up and down the stairs.

Ya, it is
challenging and tiring. But, I think it will make me healthier. (Doing more
exercise) ;-)

P/S: One of the main usage of energy in a building is - LIFTS.

Can you make a change in your lifestyle?
Try to use stairs instead of lift. (For those who might want to use the lift)

Anyway, it’s illogical to ask a person to climb up to 10th floor by using stairs. It kills!
;-)

Maybe, you can consider to climb to a floor which you think you are afford to do so. Then use the lift.

Let say, you are staying at 10th floor. You may consider to use the stairs to 5th floor, and use lift afterward.

It’s a small CHANGE we can do, didn’t we?

I have
attended a conference in Hong Kong. It is about climate change.

Erm, what I can conclude about the summit is “There are plenty of things we can
do in order to combat climate change.”

One of the ways is to know more about climate change, know the proper actions
which we can take, and ACT on it!

To share with you, I have started out something "CRAZY" thing in my
lifestyle.

I will go out every early morning (around
12 midnight – 2am) in my hostel (Restu, USM) to every toilet in the same floor
of my room (6th floor) to switch off the lights which are not needed. (Nobody
in the toilet)

Those lights consume plenty of
energy! Where the energy come from? Well, it is mainly from fossil fuel (or
coal). Burning the fossil fuel will emit a lot of CO2 which is a
kind of heat trapping gas! It makes of earth warm! The more they are in the atmosphere;
more heat will be trapped in the atmosphere!

Every time I
turn off the light, there will be someone to turn it on again. Then, he will
just left the toilet without turning off the light.

I feel SAD
about the attitude of our students.

Shouldn’t
they know that, save energy is one of the ways to fight global warming?

It’s all about CHANGE! Change our lifestyle, attitude and habit. We can help the earth!

Turn off the lights (electric appliances) when you didn’t need them.

Can you do it? Are you willing to do it?
I am sure you can do it. It’s just either you want to, or not want to…
